About the game

HackBox is a fictional cyber-simulation game operated by HJV Ventures, a business registered in Malaysia, under the Hider Studios brand, at https://hackbox.hiderstudios.com. Support: admin@hiderstudios.com.

The terminals, networks, accounts, currencies and files inside the game are simulated. Game commands do not execute host-system commands, operate real radios or attack real networks. HackBox is not permission to access anyone else's systems, accounts or data.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13, and meet any higher age requirement imposed by local law or your chosen sign-in provider. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and consent to the data processing described in the Privacy Policy before you use HackBox. Contact support if you need help. Social sign-in does not verify your age or your guardian's permission. Use your own Google or GitHub account and meet its eligibility requirements. X is not yet available. Do not give a false birth date, share someone else's provider account or bypass age restrictions.

First social sign-in creates a HackBox account. New accounts do not have a standalone HackBox password-signup option. Protect your provider account and browser session, do not impersonate others, and report suspected unauthorized access to support. Access and recovery can depend on your provider account.

Multiple PCs belong to one login account. Each PC has its own progress and files. PC management remains subject to the existing slot and virtual-currency rules. Deleting or creating a PC does not restart an account’s free-play allowance. Linking another provider, when supported, is an account-access action; it is not permission to combine or take over someone else's game account.

The Season 1 demo

New free-play enrollments receive five minutes of foreground play. Already enrolled accounts retain their recorded allowance and time used, including any previous ten-minute allowance. The allowance is shared across PCs and saved across logouts and devices. Menus, setup, an external Wiki browser and background time do not consume the allowance. An interrupted connection may consume up to the remaining short server lease before pausing.

Free play ends when the allowance runs out or the first Mara campaign conversation closes, whichever happens first. Gameplay then requires full-game access. Saves are retained, and Return to Menu remains available for PC management.

Accounts granted full-game access can choose Full game for a new PC or enable it on an existing Demo PC while keeping progress. They may also create a separate Demo PC to replay the demo. Full access is granted by the service; a local save or sign-in-provider change does not grant it.

The demo does not promise a release date, price, subscription or entitlement to future seasons. Previously agreed account access is preserved where the account's authority-owned access state permits it.

Saves and service availability

Your account, owned PCs and authoritative game progression are stored by the service. Supported PWA and iOS PC saves, simulated files and workspace preferences synchronize to a private cloud checkpoint. Use the same sign-in account on each device and wait for Cloud saved or return to the menu before switching. Previously local saves upload when opened with an updated connected client. Unsynchronized changes remain on their original device; clearing its storage can lose them. Divergent saves require a choice, with a recovery copy retained locally. Service or network interruptions can delay synchronization. Do not use this fictional simulation as storage for personal or important real-world information.

Android full-PC progress saves on the current device after import. Paid accounts can prepare a private transfer copy in the original PWA or export/import through Options → Transfer progress in Android. Use the same account and verify import before removing the original app or its data. Later progress follows the last completed manual transfer, not continuous cross-device synchronization. Account access and server-authoritative online gameplay remain shared. APK installation and updates require your approval; downloads are provided on our official website.

Updates, maintenance, provider outages or connection failures can interrupt access. Game rules and content can change. Any changes that affect existing player rights or data must be handled under applicable law and the approved Privacy Policy; these terms do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Acceptable use

Play within the simulation and its intended controls. Do not attempt to access other players' private account data, bypass account-access protections, exploit the live service, interfere with its operation or use someone else's credentials. Ordinary fictional hacking actions supported by the game are gameplay, not a violation of this rule.

Do not submit real credentials, unlawful material, sensitive personal data or real-world attack payloads through game fields. Do not use the game or support channels to threaten, harass or impersonate others.

Access may be restricted to address abuse or security incidents. Contact support to ask for review of an account restriction. We do not promise an automated appeal process, and mandatory legal rights are preserved.

Virtual items and full-game purchases

In-game balances and items are simulated game state, not a bank account or a claim to real money. When checkout is available, the full-game unlock is a one-time US$6.99 early bird purchase, not a subscription or donation. Any applicable taxes and the final amount are shown at checkout before you confirm payment.

Web checkout is provided through RevenueCat and its connected payment provider. Native store purchases, when configured, use Apple or Google billing through RevenueCat; the store shows its localized price and applicable taxes before confirmation. Native store checkout is unavailable in the development preview. The verified purchase unlocks full-game access for the signed-in HackBox account. PC continuation depends on successful save synchronization as described above. Keep access to the same sign-in account; Restore purchase checks its entitlement. Closing checkout or returning to the game does not, by itself, grant access.

Contact admin@hiderstudios.com for purchase or refund support. Applicable consumer rights and payment-provider rules remain in effect. A refunded purchase may remove paid full-game access; saved progression is retained; any unused free allowance remains subject to the account demo limit. Do not pay again to resolve a verification error: retry Restore purchase or contact support.

Copyright and third-party rights

Game code, artwork, music, story and third-party assets remain subject to their respective owners' and licensors' rights. You may access and play the demo for personal use; doing so does not transfer ownership of those materials. These terms do not claim ownership of provider brands or third-party music. The Privacy Policy explains sign-in data, game saves, service providers and optional telemetry. Product analytics is optional; replay needs a separate opt-in. Collection stays off unless you opt in. Agreeing to game terms must not be treated as agreeing to optional analytics or replay.

Mandatory rights and changes

These terms do not exclude rights that applicable law does not allow the operator to exclude. No blanket liability waiver or mandatory arbitration is imposed. Applicable law determines any mandatory rights and jurisdiction; choosing an operating country here does not override those rights.

The effective date will be the date these terms are first published, shown on the public page. Material changes will be communicated through the game or site; where renewed acceptance is required, it will be requested. A provider's OAuth consent screen is not acceptance of HackBox's separate game terms or optional analytics and replay.
